I wonder why I don’t drive it every day.
There might be a change in jobs soon, so that might change. Wonder how obscene it would be to have a weekend M3 and a daily M3.

E90 M3 for the weekdays, E92 M3 for the weekends

You say that sarcastically, but I might do something like that. Although, it would be the other way around, E90 on the weekends E92 on the weekdays.

That would be the dream.
Although DCT E92 M3s have gotten cheap.

It’s not that it’s not comfortable, it’s the fact it’s too much money to put 25,000 miles on it in a year.

I might have to.

I’m actively considering getting a DD so that I put less mileage on my 135i. The thing is costing me dearly, in the past 6 months I have had to replace AC compressor, belts, valve cover and oil filter housing gaskets, steering wheel sensor, oil pressure sensor, steering wheel buttons and a window actuator.
Negatives of a DD is that I may end up not having time to drive the 1er and the cost of insurance (costs about 1.5k year a of rego and insurance for a car in Australia). Considering a basic toyota camry or Rav4 so I have zero worries.
hmmm on the other hand you only live once, and all that boost is too much fun

I drive a lot on the highway, so the power doesn’t really matter for me. The 3 does an excellent job at eating up the miles; I’ve put 23k miles on it in 10 months.
I will say, having a less fun car as a DD makes you appreciate your fun car so much more.
My dad has a 135is and that boost is addictive.

That V8 probably gulps premium and those tyres must be a pain to maintain

I get around 16 mpg, 14.7L/100km, and I’ve gotten almost 20k miles on my set of rears. It’s not that ridiculous, but it’s not cheap either; it’s an absolutely fantastic car though.

The induction noises are amazing; I enjoy every single drive it in.

But torque would be nice in a daily.

This is true, although I really like revving an engine out.
